The wind was from the SSE at 24 mph with 34 mph gusts. Extra pedaling effort every time I headed into the wind. I started at 1:47 PM with an overcast sky and with the wind it felt chilly at 69 degrees. Since it was Sunday and a late start I rode my Lynskey Helix bike on the <strong>Kingwood &#8211; San Jacinto Bayou Greenway &#8211; Oakhurst<\/strong> route. Biking south on the US59 frontage road from Auburn Trails to Northpark Drive required determination because of the headwind. the gusts blew me around in other places whenever it had the chance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Weather: Start 69 degrees, humidity 75%, dew point 60.7, overcast, wind SE 16 mph; Finish 70 degrees, humidity 75%, dew point 61.6, overcast, wind SSE 22 mph gusts 34 mph.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The week bike rides concluded today with 217 miles.
