The last time I rode the <strong>Kingwood to Ramsey Road &#8211; Huffman<\/strong> route was <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sporttracks.mobi\/activity\/31869691\">March 14th, 2024<\/a><\/strong>. On the March ride crews were working on electric transmission lines around the Ramsey Road and Old Atascocita Road intersection. \/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of the work Ramsey Road got new asphalt north of Old Atascocita Road as far as I could see. They cut down the trees that use to shade me around the first bridge though.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I battled a SE headwind getting to Ramsey Road and took a few minutes to recover before heading back to FM2100. The wind especially tough when I rode beyond the trees on Old Atascocita Road and along the flat open pasture with nothing to block the wind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ride began at 10:36 AM after I watched The Tour of The Alps stage. When I checked the weather radar it looked like rain east of Lake Houston so I waited about 30 minutes for it to move away. I was back home at 1:41 PM with no rain spotted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Weather: Start 79 degrees, humidity 80%, dew point 71.9, mostly cloudy, wind S 8 mph; @ Ramsey Road 84
