From the south at 15 mph with 25 mph gusts and that was where I was headed. I chose the <strong>Atascocita &#8211; Walden &#8211; Spanish Cove Drive<\/strong> route but altered the streets in Kingwood on the way to West Lake Houston Parkway. Then I moved to the Atascocita Hike and Bike Trail from Kings Park Way to W. Lake Houston Parkway. Last Saturday when I rode the Atascocita Hike and Bike Trail from W. Lake Houston Parkway to Farmingham Road a sea of mud caught me under FM1960. Today the mud was there but this time I turned around, I don&#8217;t like mud. This added to the overall distance making this one of the longer rides on this route in 2024 at 37.8 miles. The typical distance is 36.5 miles for the 11 previous rides in 2024. No power meter conundrum this time. I finished at 1:35 PM. I earned the Strava <strong>Local Legend<\/strong> on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.strava.com\/activities\/11481011844\/segments\/3228794434485209068\">Kings View U<\/a> (4:17).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure
