Aboard my Canyon Endurace CF 7 bike I headed south and east to FM2100 and Huffman. Before I got there in Walden I searched out the trails adding them to the route for the first time. This created a new route name, <strong>Atascocita &#8211; Walden Trails &#8211; Spanish Cove Drive<\/strong>. I didn&#8217;t find the trail loop by Aerobic Drive but I was close. Next time I&#8217;ll look at the map beforehand. The weather forecast talked about afternoon rain and I wanted to finish the ride before that happened which I did at 12:04 PM. The east wind picked up during the ride making the ride east over Lake Houston hard. Turning right onto Fairlake Lane I got some relief from the wind. At the Spanish Cove Drive turn around I checked the wind: from the east 16 mph with 22 mph gusts. No wonder it was hard pedaling into it. I rode 38.62 miles with the extra distance on Walden&#8217;s trails helping to overcome not riding outdoors yesterday towards my June goal. I&#8217;m still ahead of the pace to get to it with 579.3 miles (64% of the 908 mile goal). As I was out biking I got an email from Strava that I lost the local legend on Lake Houston EB segment.
