Greg has worked in Utah, Florida, and most recently for the Department of Transportation for the state of Washington. Denton scored 18 in 2023. Of all cities scored, Denton ranked 61st in Texas, 263rd in the South Region and 1,541 out of 2,579 of all cities.<\/p>\n<p>PeopleForBikes City Ratings defines a bike network as \u201ca connected system of protected bike lanes, off-street paths, slow shared streets, and safe crossing that enables people to comfortably bike around a city.\u201d Ratings are based on data analysis software called Bicycle Network Analysis (BNA), which focuses on six factors: \u2026<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/www.brownwoodnews.com\/2024\/07\/01\/txdot-asking-for-feedback-on-record-104-billion-10-year-plan\/\">TxDOT asking for feedback on record $104 billion 10-year plan<\/a><\/h2>\n<h4>Derrick Stuckly | www.brownwoodnews.com<\/h4>\n<p>To help keep a thriving Texas economy moving, the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is drafting a record-breaking 10-year transportation plan, and the public is invited to weigh in on potential projects in communities across the state.<\/p>\n<p>The draft 2025 Unified Transportation Program (UTP) proposes $104.2 billion in transportation spending, making it the second year in a row that the UTP plan exceeds $100 billion.<\/p>\n<p>The UTP provides a road map to help develop projects around Texas to improve safety, address congestion and connectivity, and preserve roadways for Texas drivers. The UTP also addresses public transportation, maritime, aviation, rail, freight and international trade, and bicycle and pedestrian connectivity.
