Bicyclists raising money for charity stop in Seymour<\/a><\/h2>\n

Fuller Center Bicycle Adventure took off on a 10-week cross-country bicycle ride to raise money and awareness for The Fuller Center for Housing\u2019s efforts to help the homeless.<\/p>\n

During this adventure, the bicyclists will be covering 4,000 miles through 12 states, going from Seattle to Washington, D.C., with their final stop on Aug. 3.<\/p>\n

Throughout these weeks, seven of those days were spent off bikes for working on building projects with local Fuller Center covenant partners.<\/p>\n

Some of the sights the members get to see include Yellowstone, Rocky Mountain National Park and Flaming Gorge. On July 16, these bicyclists had the chance to see some of \u2026<\/p>\n

Hardin-Simmons Adds Cycling as Varsity-Level Sport<\/a><\/h2>\n

ABILENE, Texas (BCH Sports) \u2013 Hardin-Simmons University is excited to announce the addition of cycling as a sport and has hired Brenda Andress as its inaugural coach.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are excited about bringing the sport of cycling to Hardin-Simmons,\u201d said Dr. John Neese, Associate Vice President for Athletics. \u201cThe cycling community is vast and we think there is a need to bring competitive cycling to Abilene.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cycling is not an NCAA-sanctioned sport but has varsity and club levels and falls under the auspices of USA Cycling (USAC). USAC features four disciplines \u2013 track, mountain bike, cyclocross and road. HSU will compete in \u2026<\/p>\n
