Longtime Kilgore city manager Josh Selleck retires<\/a><\/h2>\n

KILGORE \u2014 Kilgore\u2019s longtime City Manager Josh Selleck was applauded for nearly a decade of service to Kilgore at his final city council meeting before stepping down from the role he\u2019s held for nearly a decade.<\/p>\n

Selleck announced his intention to retire from the city manager position over a year but set a date earlier this month. He will be operating Vanguard Trailworks, a local mountain bike trail-building business, full-time after leaving city service. \u2026<\/p>\n

Hermann Park Conservancy presents Park to Port Bike Ride<\/a><\/h2>\n

Hermann Park Conservancy\u2019s 10th annual Park to Port Bike Ride is a 20-mile round-trip bike ride that takes cyclists from Hermann Park\u2019s Bayou Parkland along the Bayou Greenway trail all the way to Mason Park, near the Port of Houston. There will be a post-ride party under the Bill Coats Bridge.<\/p>\n

Park to Port is open to riders of all skill levels and is not a race. Participation in Park to Port supports Hermann Park Conservancy and its stewardship efforts for Hermann Park, one of Houston\u2019s most beloved parks, while promoting the ever-growing Bayou Greenway trail system.\nWHEN\nOCT 26, 2024 | 8:00 am \u2026<\/p>\n
