Former city manager pledges to complete Kilgore trail project at no cost to city<\/a><\/h2>\n

Kilgore\u2019s former City Manager Josh Selleck struck a deal with the city to donate time and labor for significant improvements to the Bighead Creek mountain bike trail as he moves into the private sector after nearly a decade of city service.<\/p>\n

Selleck proposed the deal, which was unanimously approved by the council, at his final meeting as city manager before retiring from city service and moving full time to his local mountain bike trail business, Vanguard Trailworks. The project will involve placing asphalt over a section of the trail known as a \u201cpump track,\u201d a section of hills that allows \u2026<\/p>\n

Man sentenced in connection with Lance Armstrong bike, storage unit theft<\/a><\/h2>\n

AUSTIN (KXAN) \u2014 A man was sentenced to community supervision in connection with a 2023 theft of famous cyclist Lance Armstrong\u2019s storage unit in Austin.<\/p>\n

Shaun Thompson, 37, pleaded guilty and was sentenced to five years of community supervision in August, according to court documents. He was charged with theft of property between $30,000 and $150,000. \u2026<\/p>\n
