The fourth annual Ride for Life Fundraiser to benefit the Vannie E. Cook Jr. Children’s Cancer and Hematology Clinic will be held on Saturday, April 12th. Bicycle riders of all ages are encouraged to join the fun and help raise funds to support the Clinic’s efforts to continue providing state-of-the-art care to children battling cancer in the Rio Grande Valley.<\/font><\/p>\n

Since the opening of the clinic in June 2001, we have treated many more children than we ever anticipated." said Dr. Juan Carlos Bernini, clinic medical director. "It has become very clear that we need community support to continue meeting the needs of all the children who come to us for care. Events like this allow us to do that. We hope that Many families will join us and participate in Ride for Life<\/em>".
\n<\/font><\/p>\n

Riders will have the opportunity to participate in honor of, or in memory of, a loved one who has been touched by cancer.<\/font><\/p>\n

routes: 25\/40\/60\/100 miles. Before March 19th $25.00, after March 19th $30.00.<\/font><\/p>\n
