Today’s ride doubled the number of miles I have ridden so far this month. The weather warmed up to 71 degrees when I finished the ride at 1:30. A firm 3.1 mph SW breeze with partly cloudy skies added to the ride’s pleasure. I bundled up thinking the wind and clouds would be chilly but I think I could have rode with less coverings. The double long sleeve jerseys and windbreaker were fine but I had sweated a good amount when I got home. The leg warmers were comfortable but I could have made it without them as well. I almost did not wear the full finger gloves but I did. At time when the clouds covered the sun the extra clothing was appreciated. I think this might be the first day in February the temperature has made it to 70. I would like to think there would be more like this but the weatherman says more cold weather later this week. I would like to ride in the Pedaling the Prairie next Saturday in Katy but this will be decided when the weather gets firm.<\/p>\n
