The 400 miles is not what made it such a great month.\u00c2\u00a0 It was what rides got me there that made the month.<\/p>\n<p>On March 2nd, Gil Jones and I, celebrating Texas Independence Day and our own birthday, were joined by John Chalmers and Don Senzig for a great 83 mile loop starting in Llano, heading out RR2323 to US87 (near Fredricksberg) then north on US87 to RR152 where we turned east and rode to Castell, took a break, and then&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"http:\/\/www.kxan.com\" href=\"http:\/\/www.kxan.com\/dpp\/news\/local\/APD-to-begin-testing-body-cameras\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>APD to begin testing body cameras<\/strong><\/span><\/a><br \/>\nby Austin News<br \/>\nChief Art Acevedo had previously hoped to get the cameras in place with foot and <strong>bicycle officers <\/strong>Downtown before Mardi Gras.
