A horde of cyclists silently buzzed Brownsville. The Velociraptors Cycling Club held its inaugural criterium Sunday morning with about 50 racers showing up to participate in the event.

\nDetails: The ride starts in El Paso on April 20th, and will be passing through Lubbock. On April 22nd the ride will travel 132 miles starting in Odessa and arriving in Lubbock (Ransom Canyon). On April 23 the riders start in Ransom Canyon and will travel to Amarillo for a total of 127 miles. The riders will then drive back to Ransom Canyon for the night. On Easter Sunday the riders will travel from Ransom Canyon to Abilene, 167 miles. Come out and join the ride or support the riders.<\/p>\n
