I fixed the flat front tire last night and it held up well during this evening’s ride. I did not find a specific object that might have caused the flat but there was piece of glass in the tire near the hole in the tube.<\/p>\n

Chamber of Commerce weather was waiting when I got home from work. I was out of the house a few minutes late but there was enough time to ride 28.52 miles which was a little further than yesterday. Mid 70’s temperature with clear skies and a 16 mph wind made for a nice ride atmosphere. I did met two other riders on Old Atascocita Road. I averaged 15.4 mph with a maximum speed 22.8 mph. I have been able to average over 15 mph for the last several rides. This can be challenging with all of the back streets I take to get to the more open roads.<\/p>\n

May miles are 101.61<\/strong> and year to date miles are 1604.28<\/strong>. The next ride day will be Saturday, weather permitting.<\/p>\n
