Finally a ride without tire problems. No tube failures or mystery wire. I wanted to get my ride in before we go out for Mother’s Day lunch. The weather continues to be riding friendly with 91 degrees at home when I finished. Partly cloudy skies and a 12.7 mph southeast wind were helpful as well. Still no rain in sight this week. Today was an easy day to recover from the 58.4 mile ride yesterday.<\/p>\n

When I was reloading my spare tube into my seat bag I found that my Koobi PRS Century saddle cover was damaged in my dog crash. Koobi repairs saddles so I am sending it in for repair.<\/p>\n

No other riders were out so I was the lone one. I did see a couple of flower shop delivery vans rescuing people from forgetting mother, maybe. We are going to the Golden Coral for Mother’s Day so I hope to be restrained in my eating.<\/p>\n

May mileage is now at 184.98<\/strong>, miles this week are 160.01<\/strong> and year to date miles are 1687.65<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
