I had two days off due to a surprising event each day: RAIN. The rain has moved on so I was able to get back on the road today. The temperature was a moderate 90 degrees for most of the ride with partly cloudy skies and a 11 to 12 mph southeast wind. There were no great events during the ride which was okay by me. No other riders were out. I did have to shorten my ride from the 28 mile route to a 25 mile route since the sun is now setting a little earlier. So I ended up riding 25.36 miles<\/strong> (SportTracks calculation is slightly less than the Garmin Connect 25.52 miles) at an average speed of 15.0 mph and a max of 20.5 mph. Cadence was an average 78.6 RPM. July miles are up to 130.88<\/strong> and the year to date now stands at 2969.96 miles<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

While I was not riding I have been taking in the Tour de France. Those guys are so far above my level I cannot even see them. Thankfully the DVR lets me skip the many commercials.<\/p>\n
