By Jon Vanderlaan, Staff Writer<\/span><\/p>\n While Allen is not a destination for cyclists, the city is attempting to make its trails and roads more cycling-friendly.<\/p>\n Two plans, the Six-Cities trail and Regional Veloweb plans, are in place to connect trails in Allen to trails in other cities.<\/p>\n The Six-Cities trail plan, according to the Allen city Web site, www.cityofallen.org<\/a><\/strong>, will connect trail systems from Plano, McKinney, Richardson, Frisco, Garland and Allen to create an more broad network of trails.
