\nA couple of weeks back your cycling news roundup postings had included the first mention of the three rabbis cycling across the nation for Bike 4 Friendship. We read the link involved, checked out the website and made contact with them.<\/p>\n

My wife is a caseworker with the Texas department of children and family services and is also Jewish. We first offered to go to Fredericksburg to cheer them on, then learned that they were going to spend the night in our town, Kerrville.<\/p>\n

We made arrangements to have them come to our home for coffee last night. There were some delays related to flats and other scheduling hang ups but we wound up with a small welcoming gathering to show some hospitality to the weary and hot, courageous champions for children.<\/p>\n

We feel they are on a great mission for a worthy cause and hope our hospitality helps them along their way.<\/p>\n

I thought you’d appreciate knowing that some of the postings you’ve put out have an impact further on down the line.<\/p>\n
