Today’s ride wrapped up 7 in a row. I have not done this in many years. One thing I don’t believe I have ever done is to ride over 200 miles in a week. This week I rode 220.45 miles<\/strong> which is amazing especially given the hot weather we have been suffering through. For today’s ride it was 92 degrees when I left home and 97 degrees when I returned. While I was riding I noticed I was drenched in perspiration and I think the combination of 41% humidity and dry breeze. The clouds were more numerous than yesterday and when the sun ducked behind one the temperature felt lower. The ride today was 24.61 miles<\/strong> with an average speed of 14.9 mph, max speed was 21.2 mph and average cadence was 79.0 RPM. August miles are now 220.45<\/strong> and year to date miles are 3659.10<\/strong>. As I mentioned yesterday I will not be able to ride again until at least August 14th. So my miles for the month will slow down dramatically.<\/p>\n
