Today’s ride had 6 five mile laps. Four of the six had an average speed of 15.3 mph or higher. The other two laps were below 15 mph. This pulled my overall average speed was 15.2 mph with a max speed of 21.3 mph. My average cadence was 80.2 RPM, 2 RPM lower than yesterday. I am doing better than last week on routes longer than last week. Today I rode 29.18 miles<\/strong> and the week total is at 57.14 miles<\/strong>. I started an hour earlier today than yesterday at 9:09AM. The temperature was 83 degrees at the start and 94 degrees at the end. Partly cloudy skies and a light 6 mph variable wind were the other conditions. The light wind felt good when I was heading into it but it slowed me down some.<\/p>\n

August miles are 434.23<\/strong> and year to date 3872.88<\/strong>. With my planned rides this week I could hit 4,000 miles for the year.<\/p>\n
