\nCome celebrate IMBA\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Take-a-Kid Mountain Biking Day with GHORBA on October 1, 2011, at 10 a.m.<\/p>\n

We will be hosting the event at James Brindley Memorial Trail at Sugar Land Memorial Park<\/p>\n

The event is open to both members and non-members.<\/p>\n

It will be a great way to introduce a kid to the fun of trail riding! We will have courses emphasizing safety and basic skills to make riding more enjoyable. After we spend some time on the trail, we will have lunch and snacks…<\/p>\n

\nThis ride is essentially a reverse of the popular Woman Hollering Creek Ride with a few new twists.\u00c2\u00a0 The ride begins\/ends at Britzke’s Restaurant in New Berlin.\u00c2\u00a0 After the ride, there will be an opportunity to have lunch at Britzke’s.\u00c2\u00a0 Directions: Take Loop 1604 South (past Randolph AFB) and exit I-10.\u00c2\u00a0 Take I-10 East to the Trainer Hale exit. Cotton Patch Criterium 2011<\/strong><\/span><\/a>

\nAfter an 85 mile road race, I woke to find soreness in my legs, but nothing that I couldn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t handle!\u00c2\u00a0 My crit was at 11 am.\u00c2\u00a0 The overnight rain had kept the temperature cooler for the P12 field and I\u00c2\u00a0 used 2 bottles of water and a couple of gels to keep me company on my bike.\u00c2\u00a0 Also, I was glad that my parents came out to watch the race.<\/p>\n

The course was a squiggly rectangle, that went up and over a bridge on each lap.\u00c2\u00a0 The first time up the bridge was into a right-to-left crosswind, followed by a tailwind into the fast finishline.<\/p>\n
