Chappell Hill Road Race – Masters 35+ 4/5 – 12th out of 48

Part of a 3 man break at mile 3 but decided that I could not hold the watts for the whole race so dropped back to the pack… plus we had another team member in the break… which stuck to the end.
Got caught in traffic in the final sprint and had to put the brakes on twice. Still managed 12th place anyway. I’ll call that a good day. Probably the most patient I’ve been in a RR to date. Still had some left for pack sprint.
