Saturday November 10, 2018, 63 miles (101 km) – Total so far: 1,804 miles (2,903 km)
Mark here: We rode out of Texas today. Two weeks, almost to the hour. The celebration was muted as it was 48 degrees and raining lightly. We crossed this massive state at its widest point in 14 days, including a layover day in Austin. Seems hard to believe.
The populations of different areas of the country fascinate me as they tell stories of migration patters that go way back. Texas is so big it has different things going on in different regions. A few observations about the Lone Star State
