It is time for the 9th Annual Katy Ram Challenge!

Come join us on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at Sun & Ski Sports, Katy Mills Mall in Katy, TX. Ride in comfort knowing that support will be provided including rest stops, refreshments, safety marshals, law enforcement at major intersections, first aid, motorcycle escorts and entertainment.
Are you up to taking the Challenge?

The Katy Ram Challenge is a non-competitive bike ride held annually in Katy, TX to benefit the Mayde Creek High School MIGHTY Ram Band. The ride includes support and covers several courses ranging from a 12 mile family ride to a 76 mile endurance ride. Riders can expect to experience rolling meadows and rural flatlands around the Katy / Brookshire area. A course map is HERE.

Start time is at 8:00 a.m. from Sun & Ski Sports, Katy Mills Mall, Katy, TX

Thursday, 4/7/2011 & Friday, 4/8/2011 from 4:00-8:00 p.m.
Saturday, 4/9/2011 from 6:00 a.m. to the start

Join BCO on a fun ride around town! We have several Farmer Markets right here in the middle of the city, which bring in local organic produce every Saturday. Bring your backpack to carry what you purchase, and let’s shop the markets on our bikes! We meet for coffee and then take an easy tour of 3 to 5 markets around the city. We use side streets, trails and residential roads for this approximately 12 – 15 mile, 3 hour ride including generous stops.

Additional Information
Not only will you learn the markets and get some exercise, you’ll see beautiful areas you never knew existed in Houston and take home a bounty of beautiful produce, breads, sauces and jams!
