About 60 ham radio operators assisted by driving SAG Vans, working the Break Points, running the route checking flooded areas, putting up signage and taking it down afterward, running net control, serving as shadows for tour officials, police cars, and medical personnel. Spook ‘n Spokes Bicycle Ride – Wichita Falls, TX
The Ride:  Come and join in the Halloween holiday fun on October 31, 2009.  There will be plenty of fun for the entire family!  The ride will start at 10:00 AM with a choice of four different routes:  6 miles, 20 miles, 35 miles, and 62 miles (100 K).  Rest stops will be conveniently located throughout each course; they will be stocked with your favorite sports drink, fruits, and cookies.  Some of the stops promise to provide a “haunting” experience.

Where:  The ride will start and end at Berend’s Landing, located next to Texoma Cycling Center, 502 Wichita Street, Wichita Falls, Texas.
