Crash kills cyclist on training ride

A 39-year-old NASA engineer was killed Saturday while leading members of the Pearland Cycling Club on a training ride for the MS 150 charity fundraiser. Houston Chronicle story.  Please pray for this family.

Bicycle Gear Hits the Tech Blogs

Resource Revival has created wall clocks from used bicycle front crank gears. Both Gizmodo and Gear Log have featured these clocks. Gizmodo link and the Gearlog link.

Gizmodo also has an article on Rainlegs. Research shows the area a biker gets wet the most is the top of our thighs and knees. Rainlegs protects those. Treehugger link. Some posters disagree about this being the correct area. Check out the Treehugger blog for the comments.
