  1. Rick, I never met you, we cross path once at Spring Creek, you made my day by your small gesture. I always looked forward to your videos although I was not an avid YouTube watcher, I always looked forward to your videos. I was not aware of your passing and I found out this week when I went to your channel wandering why you had not posted and saw a YouTuber had posted of your passing, I always came to your channel to see if you had posted a video, it’s truly heartbreaking.

  2. Although we never met Rick, we enjoyed so much watching his daily rides on You Tube. I know I rode in some of the Hotter n Hell 100 rides when he rode, but never connected with him while there.

Thanks for posting this as we wondered what might have happened. I am sorry to hear of his tragic and fatal accident. He was quite the biking enthusiast.

As I mentioned earlier, we enjoyed watching his rides and miss them very much. He was an inspiration and encouragement to my riding as he and I were born in 1947.

Our belated condolences to his family and friends.

  3. Thank you for posting this. I never met Rick in person but have been a long-time reader of his news entries and wondered what had happened when he stopped posting. Sad now to have clarity. At least he pursued his two-wheeled passion with so much energy and intensity. My condolences to family, friends and the wider TX cycling community. Thank you, Rick, you are missed, RIP.
