This year this event has included 3 routes of 15, 30 and 50 miles respectively. Registration fee is $15 or $20.
The North Texas Bicycle Rally (NTBR) is an annual fund raising event that supports local and national charity organizations. This year the NTBR has chosen St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital as it’s beneficiary.
This year’s Rally is made possible by many benefactors and sponsors. However, this ride would not be possible if it weren’t for the participation and assistance of public safety teams from the cities of Roanoke, Trophy Club, Keller, Fort Worth, and Haslet. In addition, Tarrant and Denton County Public Safety teams will play a significant contributing role for this event.

Welcome to the beautiful Pineywoods of East Texas. Our ride is unforgettable… the challenge not immediately visible to the first-time rider. But, as you ride the rolling hills that lead you through our thickly wooded forests, the challenge of the terrain becomes evident, and the beauty of an October day in East Texas makes you realize that this is truly the Pineywoods Purgatory. Join us for a challenging, yet unforgettable ride.
If you want hills and plenty of trees, the Pineywoods Purgatory should be your next ride! 25 mile route takes you through gently rolling hills. 52 mile route shows you more of the pineywoods and rural communities. 72 mile route provides a scenic view of three counties. Recommended for the experienced cyclist. 102 mile route is miles and miles of pineywoods and hills with a finish you will never forget. Should be attempted by the experienced cyclist only.
Registration of $30 will include a great T-shirt and lots of other goodies. Registration allowed on ride day! To guarantee a T-shirt, registration must be received before September 25th, 2009.
