The Regional Transportation Council not too long ago authorised $23.5 million in federal funding for building of 12 lively transportation initiatives in Collin, Dallas and Tarrant counties.

In any other year, as we move into October, most of us would have been busy with packet pickup, accommodations and getting ready for the Bike MS: Ride to the River. This is not one of those years. This year we prepare for a virtual Bike MS ride on a new date. October 17, 2020 is not far off and I hope you are looking forward to riding on that day.
Bike MS: Inside Out offers us the option to ride outside on the road or trails or inside on our trainers/stationary bikes. This gives us the flexibility to choose the route, length and duration of the ride.
Keeping that in mind, if you are planning to ride on the road, I would like to offer some suggestions on couple of routes and invite you to join other fellow Velo Valero riders on these routes.

A teenager was struck by a vehicle while riding his bike on Thursday night.
At approximately 8:15 p.m. on Thursday, the Laredo Fire Department arrived at the intersection of Woodridge and International where they found a 15-year-old child who had been hit while on his bike.
