Pedaling the Prairie is a non-competitive bike ride held annually in Katy, Texas, to benefit the athletic department of Faith West Academy. This year’s ride is on Saturday, May 17, 2008. Start time is at 7:30 a.m. from the Katy Mills Mall Sun & Ski parking lot on the east side of the mall at 5000 Katy Mills Circle, Katy, TX 77494
The ride travels along several courses ranging from a 10-mile family ride to a 100-mile endurance ride. The different routes take you around the Katy, Fulshear, Simonton, and San Felipe areas. You can expect to experience the prairie, rolling meadows, and rural flatlands.
