Bicycle Safety Rodeo for Children – Dallas, Texas By Rick Ankrum, on June 4, 2008, 9:53 pm The Dallas Police Department, Dallas Children’s Charities, McDonalds and Fiesta team up to hold a free Bicycle Safety Rodeo for children under 12 years of age on Saturday June 7, 2008 from 9 AM – 12 Noon at 700 West Jefferson, Dallas, Texas 75208. Children will complete a bicycle safety rodeo course and completion certificate will be presented to each child. The rodeo is designed to teach young cyclists the fundamentals of bike safety including bicycle laws in a fun and safe environment. Participants are encouraged to bring their own bicycle but extra bikes will be on site for children to use.
