2009 TTN State Trails Conference – Waco, TX

January 21 – 23, 2009

The trails movement in Texas continues to grow, fueled by dramatic increases in health concerns, economic benefits of urban trail proximity to real estate development, and awareness of nature’s value to balanced living. Our January 2009 conference – “TEXAS TRAILS; THEN, TODAY AND TOMORROW” – will provide both newcomers and veterans new insights on urban trails, and how they offer a higher quality of living to residents, businesses and visitors alike.

Enrique Peñalosa, whose legendary pathway accomplishments as Mayor of Bogotá Colombia have gained worldwide attention, will be the keynote speaker. The conference includes guided tours of some of Waco’s recent facility upgrades.
