Come sweat with us in Granbury Texas on August 1st for the Blazin’ Saddle 75. The routes are hilly and the hot weather presents a wonderful training opportunity for the Hotter than Hell 100. This cycling tour takes athletes on a scenic ride through parts of Hood and Erath counties. The tour has three different approximate distances; 75 miles, 40 miles and 20 miles. We are excited to benefit Hood County EMS for this event.

About Texbiker.net Texbiker.net covers the news, events and resources for those interested in Texas bicycling.
My bicycling passion was rekindled in 1979 with a Huffy bicycle from Woolco. From early rides around my neighborhood my enthusiasm grew to tackle my unsupported first century. From there I discovered organized rides all over Texas, races and mountain bikes. Many bikes and miles later the enthusiasm is still there.
Thanks to my wife, Hazel Marie, for her support over the many years, miles and rides.
In 1999 Texbiker.net was born to help my fellow bikers have ready access to all of the information about the Texas bicycling scene.

If I can’t get to Ft.Worth to pick up my packet, will it be avaiable that Saturday morning of the ride???
At most rides you can pick up your stuff the morning of the ride.
Is there a map of the routes that are available on line? Please advise
It doesn’t look like they have a route map.
Hi everyone! Thanks for your interest in our ride… My husband and I are the race directors for this new ride. We do have route maps posted on our web-site – http://www.cadenceraceproductions.com – it also mentions the 3 choices for packet pick-up. You are more than welcome to pick up your packet race morning. We will be out there bright and early (5:30 am) for open registration and packet pick-up. You are welcome to call me if you have any other questions 817-615-7842 – or e-mail Scott and I at cadenceraceproductions@yahoo.com We hope to see you out in Granbury for a great ride!
I must have missed the link. Thanks for being race directors.
I suggest you publicize this ride on http://www.bicycletexas.com most of the riders I know refer to this site to find ‘pay’ rides in Texas. -Bill
