Extreme Sports and Your Work

I was listening to the BusinessWeek – Climbing the Ladder podcast this week. The guest, Paul Schaye, talks about how his bicycle riding is helping him in business and his battle with inoperable cancer. Mr. Schaye plans on riding several long events this year, including one in Paris, France. The insight he has is worth listening to. (No direct Texas connection but this applies no matter where you live and ride.) The podcast page The Extreme Career.

  2. I read the article in the WSJ this morning and was truly moved by your story. My husband was diagnosed with brain cancer in November. They were able to remove the tumor however it is very likely that the cancer will return and the prognosis is very similar to yours. Like you and your wife, we do not have children and are about the same age as you. The similarities between your situation and ours are amazing. I can really feel for your wife as I am facing the same situation. We just celebrated our 25 anniversary before our lives took a major left turn as my husbands puts it. Best wishes to the two of you and know that we feel your pain and continue to be optomistic about the future and treasure each day we have together.
