This event offers a great day of cycling and fun through beautiful country, as well as the personal satisfaction of completing a ride and doing your part in the fight against diabetes. Whether you’re a novice, an occasional rider or expert cyclist, we have a route that matches your ability. Our routes feature full-service rest stops as well as SAG and mechanical support along the way. Upon crossing the finish line you will be invited to join us for lunch, to unwind in the massage tent and to enjoy live music and more. All routes will start and finish at Champion Nissan Katy. Come escape the city and see a side of Texas that can only be seen from two wheels.

My bicycling passion was rekindled in 1979 with a Huffy bicycle from Woolco. From early rides around my neighborhood my enthusiasm grew to tackle my unsupported first century. From there I discovered organized rides all over Texas, races and mountain bikes. Many bikes and miles later the enthusiasm is still there.
