Paris-Brest-Paris is a famous bike ride that began in the late 19th century. It is the oldest organized bike ride inexistence. It goes from a suburb of Paris (StQuentinenYvelines) out to Brest, a port city on the northwest coast of France, and back. More importantly, it is an opportunity for over the hill athletes to compete against themselves to see if they can ride 1230km (764miles) in under 90 hours. It happens once every 4 years and requires riders to qualify by riding a 200k (124 miles), 300k (187 miles), 400k (249 miles), and a 600k (373 miles) within specified time limits.

  1. The article(Dove Hunting) is from Rick Ankrum that is not based on facts. When guns and hunting are outlawed so will the rest of our freedoms such as bicycling. So pull your head out before spewing your baseless puke.

  2. I read the article and didn’t see where the author was calling for guns to be banned. I have to admit that some of the places I ride are rather rural and I can hear guns being fired during the hunting season. It is not unheard of for hunters to shoot something not on the approved list; like people, cows and other things.

  3. It is normal to “hear the report” during hunting season, DA. Choose another route!
    I was making a point DA when nazi socialist pukes ban freedoms, cycling will be as well. Hunting is a sport same as cycling, there are more accidents in cycling than hunting! How many of us have been hit by automobiles and you don’t have to be in rural area’s! The article is stupid and so is your response. Grow up.
