Many days, you’ll find the former first lady taking morning walks on the couple’s 1,500-acre ranch near Crawford while her husband rides his bike on the trails or paints, a hobby he’s embraced since leaving office.
It’s a far cry from the life they lived in the media spotlight while George W. Bush served as president from 2000-2008.

With a truck bed filled with used and broken bicycles, Gordon White has one thing in mind.

The city of Bryan has announced receiving nearly $2 million dollars in federal money towards the costs of additional sidewalks and bike lanes.
The city will pay about one-fourth of the construction costs plus the staff time to design three projects.
One is a 12 foot wide path along the freeway’s northbound service road between Boonville and Old Reliance.
A second is a bike lane along Coulter from 29th to South College.
