Reward yourself with a fully supported bike ride on quiet country roads through some of the most spectacular fall scenery Texas has to offer. The Texas Hill Country River Region Classic starts at 8:00 AM, Saturday, October 13, 2007, from Garner State Park and follows the Frio and Sabinal rivers plus climbs the ridge that divides them. Route choices include 34, 52, 68 and 94 miles with well-stocked rest stops about every 10 miles.
Kid’s Off-Road Race/Ride. (17.1, 35.6 or 62 miles) Minimum $30 to Children’s Advocacy Center. Buffalo Springs Lakes (East of Lubbock, Texas).
