Woodlands tapped to test new bike share technology

The Woodlands may play host to a test run of the latest technology in bike sharing this fall.
BCycle, a bike share equipment supplier, approached The Woodlands Township with a proposal to use Town Center as a field trial location for its new BCycle Smart bike system in order to test equipment and gather user feedback.
“Since we’re so bike friendly and upscale … (BCycle) thought The Woodlands would be a good place (for the trial),” said John Powers, assistant general manager for community services for The Woodlands Township. …
