WACO, Texas (Jan. 31, 2019) – Baylor’s Department of Public Safety recently approved a new Traffic, Transportation and Parking Policy for the University. One of the most notable inclusions in the policy is the prohibition of texting while driving or cycling on campus unless hands-free technology is used.
Already a law under the Texas Transportation Code, no texting while driving is now an offense on Baylor’s roadways as well and may result in a Baylor citation. …

This is an informal, leader led ride, at an easy pace (Ride speed: 11 – 14 mph ) for those who want to see parts of Houston and many of its special places by bike. The rest stop will be at one of the city’s independent coffee houses, so if you like coffee, and want to ride through some interesting neighborhoods, this is the ride for you. Total distance is between 20 and 25 miles. The forecast is looking good, partly cloudy and comfortable temperatures.
The ride starts at Stude Park on Usener St. near Michaux St. The nearest large cross streets are White Oak and Studemont.
